How crazy is this, it’s almost February already! January has been a busy month – and by busy I mean work, work, work and work. I haven’t had much time to do much else, but I still managed to explore som new products and other little things that I got to love.

The first thing I have gotten to love, is the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion. We all have them, blemishes. They come from time to time, and sometimes they feel like they’re coming but then they stay riiiiight under the surface and hurt like hell! (Yeah, you know what Im talking about) – well, this product will be your savior. It is made with a blend of Calamine and Salicylic Acid, and clears up both visible and non-visible spots. I had a really bad one on my chin, and I put this on – about 15min after, I could already feel and see a massive difference. I tried putting it on a old spot, where it was just a bit red still – I slept with it on – and the day after it was completely gone. 10/10 will recommend to EVERYONE! The next item on my list, is this cute little Q&A a day – 5 year journal. It has 365 questions, one for each day of the year, and then for five years – the purpose is to answer the same question, the same day every year – so that when you are done, you can compare your answers for the past five years. I love the concept, because I am soooo bad at writing a diary, or keeping a normal journal. I really want to write more, but I never get to it – but with this, it is so easy because it’s only a few lines you have to write every day, and so far i’ve done it every day! Yay. Friday the 13th I got a new tattoo. And this might even be my favorite one so far. I dont have much to say, other than I really love the colors and the placement so much. Got this at Elektrisk Tatovering in Odense, thank you Juris!

I am always on the lookout for new moisturizing face masks, because I have the driest skin on earth. So I am always on the hunt for a good cleansing facemask, and a really hydrating one too. Coincidentally I found this sweet little set from Origins in my local beauty store, and to the ridiculous price of 80kr/10£ I just had to try it out. And boy was it worth it! The set contains one Maskimizer/primer, one Clear Improvement Mask and one Drink Up Mask – all of them 30ml. I start by taking off my makeup with a damp cloth, and then I spritz a bit of the Maskimizer on and then layer on some of the Clear Improvement mask, then when it has dried down I remove it again with a damp cloth – and then I use the Drink Up mask before I go to bed – this one is a overnight mask – very convenient! My skin is so much more hydrated than before, and feels so soft and smooth. I really love it, and will recommend to anyone with dry skin to use this combo! Buy it here

My next favorite item that I bought in January, is this Peachy Glow Cheek Palette from Tanya Burr Cosmetics. This palette contains a beautiful lightly shimmering bronzer called beach bronze, a pretty blush called apricot flush and an amazing highlighter named champagne shimmer. These three, are all you need for everyday makeup or for going out. Im in love with this palette, and actually every other palette fra Tanya Burr, both eye palettes and face palettes are truly amazing and so affordable. I use this everyday! Buy it here

The last, but definitely not least is the Lock It Foundation from Kat Von D. This foundation is so damn amazing, and I don’t know how I could ever live without it again. With this foundation, a little goes a long way and it is so full coverage that I can’t even believe it. I usually apply my foundation with a beauty blender, but with this one I find it easier to apply it with a brush as it is a bit thicker than other foundations – I use my Real Techniques Bold Metals foundation brush.
